Three years ago, I accompanied my sister who was purchasing a vehicle at Capitol Volkswagen. As I waited for her to complete the paperwork, the sales manager approached me & inquired if I was interested in making a purchase as well. At the time, I wasn’t financially prepared to do so. I explained that I was currently under a lease with 7 months remaining & expressed my concerns about the car being over the contracted mileage limit. The sales manager offered to look up my lease information and before long, I was offered a great deal to lease a brand new car with no money down and a similar monthly payment. The friendly service of the sales team not only impressed me, but they were generally interested in being of assistance. Yesterday, I was able to obtain financing to purchase that vehicle with the assistance of concierge, Uwana Udofia, who worked tirelessly on my behalf. I hate car salesman and car dealerships! But, this experience was tolerable. The low pressure sales was nice, Darius was very laid back and knew all the details about various Subaru models. I feel I got a reasonable deal on a Crosstrek, and the manager, Derek, offered to repaint a small blemish before I took over. One slight negative was Derek stating he was offering a “firm handshake and a full tank.” Alas, the car had 1/4 tank at pickup, but all in all, not a bad experience.

Excellent customer service. Eric (sales rep) and Ericka (finance rep) went above and beyond staying late on a Friday night to wrap up a deal for my sweet Ioniq 5. And follow-up visits with complimentary charging only reinforced how right this decision was. As a first time new vehicle owner and EV at that, I needed the hand -holding.
